What is UNITE?

UNITE Family Services was established to promote the safe reunification of families with medically complicated children currently in foster care with the following core principles:

SAFETY

To allow medically complicated children to safely participate in court-ordered visitation.

PARTNER

To create a partnership between families, foster families, and providers to ensure adequate
training and consistency of care.

EMPOWER

To equip families with the confidence, knowledge and skills necessary to safely care for their child independently.

RESTORE

To increase the rate of successful reunification of medically complicated children and their families.
